The World Surf League WSL released the 2016 schedule for the Elite Surfers World Tour. The Tour will take them around the World once again in search of the perfect waves to take competition to the highest standards. 

Melbourne Australia Gets Ready for 2.4mR World Sailing Competition 
Sailing Scuttlebutt News reported on November 23 on the preparations being made in Melbourne Australia. The city will see competition of the World Sailing Championship of the 2.4mR fleet. 

Texas University Expands on How Fish Use Light 
Scientists led by Molly Cummings and Parrish Brady from the University of Texas assured to have discovered a behaviour taken on by fish to hide underwater. The use of underwater light reflections and ocean UV dynamics is in the spotlight of the study.

“Who is the Fastest Fish in the Ocean?” PADI Responds 
PADI INternational Diving Organization reported on the ”fastest fish in the ocean.” “If you own freediving, jet or split fins, you may think that you’re quite the swimmer -and you might be when comparing yourself to your fellow scuba divers. When comparing yourself to the speeds at which the fastest fish in the world reach, we’re sorry to say -you are incredibly slow,” PADI assured. PADI detailed speeds of Sailfish reaching 110 top kilometer per hour speeds, the Blue Marlin also swimming at 110 kmp, the Wahoo at 77 and the Blue Shark at 70 among others. 

X-40 Sailing Series and 2015 World Tour to End in Sydney 
The X-40 Sailing Series and its 2015 World Tour which took Teams throughout the five continents is about to end in Sydney Australia. With only two weeks for the final season fans gather for the intense sailing competition. 2015 may be over but 2016 is about to begin and the X-40 Sailing Series will ride it out again.

Laser Radial Women´s World Championship Ends with New Golds and Silver 
The Laser Radial Women´s World Championship ended in Oman. Top sailors have emerged and gold and silver fleets are now established for the Final Series. A fleet of 100 Radial Lasers took on the conditions of the basin with grace. 

Oceans of Hope Sailing for Sclerosis to Sail Around the World 
The Sailing Sclerosis project, Oceans of Hope OOH organization which wants to “change the perception of multiple sclerosis” through sailing  reported that “dreams do come true”. Their 20 meter yacht Oceans of Hope will sail around the world for the first time.

Architect Nikola Bašic made international news when he presented his recently construction “Sea Organ”. The coastal design uses tides and ocean elements to make music.

Flying Phantom Series to Sail Bermuda´s America Cup Venue  
The 2015 Flying Phantom Series -where multihulls compete at high speeds will take to Bermuda for the final event of 2015.  “An international fleet of Flying Phantoms will come together to enjoy 4 days of intense racing on Bermuda’s Great Sound. Bermuda was host in October of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series racing circuit and will be the venue for the 2017 America’s Cup. With the Flying Phantom Series Bermuda 2015, it will confirm that Bermuda is the place to be for foiling events,” Organizers assured.
