The issue now opens doors to production and application of the bacteria in recovery programs designed to restore affected hydric environments. The Gender in question was described recently in 2009. The bacteria had been successfully isolated in US Louisiana and had been sequenced before in Artic Ocean, Baltic Ocean, Canada, China, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Taiwan and the US.
